ILLUSIONS

To Cake the face with fake sentiments,
To plaster a hoax smile,
Is it worthwhile?

To smother the soul with emotions I don’t feel,
To besmear false feelings when true ones are in complete exile,
Is it not vile?

It is better to show nothing at all,
Than to let illusions and delusions pile,
As it is myself that I would be tricking all the while…
