Though the boundless horizon extends
to wherever the eyes can behold,
It cannot be held.
Though the moon appears to be
at an arm’s length,
It takes much more to set foot upon.
Though the rising sun, at the brim of the earth
looks as though at the same level as me,
It cannot be grasped, touched.
Just like a menacing illusion,
Some things in life just appear to be nearby, close,
Close enough to hold and cherish.
But in reality they are at a place,
Somewhere far away,
Difficult to Reach.
